About me
Hello! I'm Katelyn, I specialize in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma. My therapeutic approach is behavioral, with a strong emphasis on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients build practical skills to manage emotions, cope with challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives. We will begin with a personal assessment to better understand what brings you to therapy. You are encouraged to share what feels comfortable, there is no rush. We will move towards harder topics when the time is right. We will then collaborate to develop goals focusing on growth and healing.
There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. Each client receives a plan based on their individual experiences, strengths, and challenges. You're the expert on yourself, and my role is to support you in identifying where you are now and helping you move forward in a way that feels authentic and achievable. I'll meet you where you are at.
I am passionate about this work because I can personally relate to feeling “blah” every day without fully understanding why. I know what it’s like to struggle to get out of bed and to feel as though things may never improve. Through my own experiences, I’ve learned how powerful it is to have someone to rely on. Let's work together to help life feel better.
