About me
Helping You Navigate Life’s Challenges with Compassionate, Client-Centered Care.
Welcome! I’m so glad you're here. At Central Connecticut Counseling, my passion is helping people like you navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels authentic and empowering. Whether you're struggling with ADHD, working through anxiety, depression, grief, or seeking post-traumatic growth after experiencing trauma, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can explore ways to enhance and re-engage with your life, while freely exploring your thoughts, feelings, and aspirations without fear of judgment.
As the owner and lead counselor, I bring a unique blend of professional expertise and personal care to every session. I specialize in ADHD in both children and adults, using a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and creative
tools like play and art therapy to meet you where you are. I understand that everyone’s journey is different, and together, we'll find what works best for you.
I know life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you're balancing work, school, or relationships. I’ve worked with many individuals facing similar challenges, helping them build confidence, strengthen communication, and develop practical strategies to thrive.
I also incorporate mindfulness, self-regulation techniques, and muscle relaxation exercises to help you manage stress, allow your body to relax, and support the healing of difficult emotions that persist, helping you regain balance and emotional well-being. I believe in celebrating differences and embracing the beauty of each person’s unique path—and I’m here to help you do just that.
If you’re ready to tackle the obstacles standing in your way, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can create lasting change and help you lead a life that’s fulfilling, balanced, and true to who you are.
