About me
You may have felt like you've lost sight of who you are and what you want. You may feel broken, hopeless, or stuck. Whether that's due to trauma, relationships, illness, or just life events, sometimes you just need someone by your side to guide you through the struggle. I specialize in working with shame, perfectionism, trauma, Neurodivergence (specifically ADHD and high masking autism), faith transitions, and LGBTQ+ issues. I believe that each individual has within them the ability to heal, grow, thrive, and become their true selves, and it is my goal to hold space for my clients as they learn to harness that ability.
Just as no two people are alike, there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and I work with each client to develop a unique plan that works for them while prioritizing the therapeutic relationship. I work with you to heal trauma, live a life aligned with your personal values, and let go of beliefs or behaviors that are no longer serving you.
Carl Rogers said, "The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." I strive to authentically connect with each client in order to help them feel accepted and celebrated in a non-judgmental and safe environment. Only then can they embrace and implement the changes they hope to make.
I specialize in treating trauma, perfectionism, shame, LGBTQIA issues, ADHD, late diagnosed Autism, and faith transitions. I help clients let go of harmful behaviors and beliefs, and create a life filled with choice and peace. I create a safe space for my clients to release trauma and create new patterns and behaviors that will allow them to live as their true selves. I tailor my treatment approach to my individual clients in order to find the path that resonates most with them. I am person-centered, meaning I collaborate with my clients, honor their goals, and respect their right to self-determination. I use a variety of techniques, including EMDR, IFS (parts work), Mindfulness, body-based therapies, experiential and creative therapies, DBT, and ACT.
