About me
I am a queer-affirming therapist dedicated to supporting adults and couples through life’s challenges, with a focus on the LGBTQIA+ community, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
I recognize life can be incredibly hard, and sometimes it takes us to dark places we never expected. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help, especially in those moments. My goal is to provide steady support and encouragement as we navigate life’s darkest moments and discover new possibilities for yourself. My style is warm, non-judgmental, and often infused with humor. I recognize that life, and especially therapy, can be a vulnerable and awkward space. I want you to feel empowered, understood, and invited to show up exactly as you are, even when it means laughing together at the absurdity of it all.
I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ adults (18+), couples, and parents. My specialties include depression, life transitions, and the unique challenges faced within queer communities. In addition, I support individuals and loved ones who want a deeper understanding of their mental health diagnoses, guidance with symptom management, or support in caring for someone living with a serious mental illness such as Bipolar disorder. No matter the reason for seeking therapy, our time together will be tailored towards your unique needs, working collaboratively to move toward hope, growth, and a brighter tomorrow.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) supervised by Tiffany Allen, LCSW-S. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work, with a concentration in Mental Health and Substance Use, from the University of Texas at Arlington. I offer both virtual and in-person sessions.
