About me
I am a trauma-informed therapist specializing in complex trauma and anxiety in high-achieving women. I help clients heal from past experiences, overcome people-pleasing and perfectionism, and build healthier boundaries through evidence-based, culturally responsive therapy grounded in self-compassion and liberation-oriented psychology.
Therapy for the woman who is tired of being strong for everyone else.
You’ve worked hard to build a life you’re proud of. You’re capable, ambitious, and the person others count on. But behind the accomplishments, you may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted from trying to keep everything together. You overthink decisions, struggle to set boundaries without guilt, and find yourself putting everyone else’s needs before your own. Even when life is going well, it can be difficult to feel at ease.
I help high-achieving women navigate complex trauma, chronic anxiety, and the patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, and over-responsibility that can develop from difficult early experiences. You may have learned to stay safe by being helpful, successful, agreeable, or endlessly independent. Those strategies may have helped you get where you are today, but they don't have to determine how you live moving forward.
My approach to therapy combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), polyvagal-informed principles, mindfulness, and self-compassion. Through a liberation-oriented psychology lens, we explore not only your personal experiences and family history, but also how cultural expectations, gender roles, and broader systems of oppression may have shaped your beliefs about who you need to be. Together, we'll build practical skills, strengthen your boundaries, reconnect with your needs, and challenge the rules that keep you feeling stuck.
I believe therapy should be honest, collaborative, and grounded in real life. You can expect meaningful conversations, practical strategies, and space to explore the parts of yourself you may have learned to hide or put aside. You won't be asked to abandon your ambition, reject your culture, or stop caring about others. Instead, we'll work toward a life where caring for yourself is no longer something you have to earn.
You deserve to feel confident in your decisions, connected to yourself, and free to pursue what matters to you—without sacrificing your well-being in the process.
