Optimal Behavioral Health Solutions is a Tampa-based practice serving children, teens, and the families, educators, and providers who support them.

Most families we meet are managing three relationships at once: someone to evaluate the child, someone to help with school, and someone to work on behavior. Those three rarely talk to each other, and the parent ends up doing the coordinating. We built this practice to close that gap.

Services: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for autism and developmental needs
| Psychoeducational and behavioral assessment: cognitive, adaptive, autism-specific (ADOS-2, ADI-R), and functional behavior assessment
| Special education advocacy: IEP and 504 support, evaluation review, meeting attendance, and dispute resolution support under IDEA, Section 504, and the ADA
| Behavioral consultation and behavior support planning
| Behavioral feeding intervention: food refusal, restricted diets, and mealtime behavior
| Parent training and coaching, including accredited Triple P
| Individual and family counseling
| Workshops and training for schools and organizations

Who We Are:
The practice is led by Karmelyn (Kaye) T. Lee, M.S., M.L.S., a Board-Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst, non-attorney special education advocate, and Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern completing supervised clinical hours. She instructs for COPAA's Special Education Advocacy Training, is a LEND trainee at the University of Miami's Mailman Center for Child Development, and is ADOS-2 and ADI-R certified.

How We Work:
In person in the Tampa area, telehealth across Florida, and special education advocacy nationwide.

ABA therapy is in network with major commercial plans and approved for FES-UA. Assessment, advocacy, consultation, and counseling are self-pay, with HSA and FSA accepted and a sliding scale considered on a case-by-case basis.
