About me
I am a Mental Health Counselor Intern specializing in anxiety, trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and family systems. With more than a decade of experience supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families, I bring together clinical training, behavioral expertise, and a commitment to educational equity.
Currently completing an advanced graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I use evidence-based approaches grounded in developmental psychology, trauma recovery, and client-centered care. My work focuses on helping individuals and families manage anxiety, stress, life transitions, and behavioral challenges, particularly among children and adolescents with developmental and emotional needs.
In addition to my counseling role, I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and non-attorney special education advocate. I conduct autism and behavioral assessments (including the ADOS-2 and functional behavior assessments) and supervise ABA programs using tools such as VB-MAPP, PEAK, ABLLS-R, AFLS, and EFL. This dual expertise allows me to design integrated treatment plans that support both behavioral growth and emotional wellness.
I believe that healing and progress occur where emotional health, educational access, and family collaboration meet. My goal is to empower families through counseling, behavioral strategies, and advocacy, helping them build resilience and thrive across home, school, and community settings.
