About me
I am a therapist with years of experience supporting clients who are healing from trauma and managing anxiety, depression, body image concerns, and other life stressors. My approach centers on creating a warm, relaxed, and affirming environment where clients can take the time they need to breathe, reflect, and better understand how past experiences continue to live in the body. I believe therapy is a space for both deep healing and genuine connection, and I value incorporating compassion, curiosity, and even moments of laughter throughout the process.
I am dedicated to offering inclusive, multicultural care and supporting clients from BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. As a white, bisexual therapist, I strive to practice with humility, accountability, and awareness of how social systems and identity intersections influence mental health. I have significant experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, including providing counseling and case management services to adolescents in a co-ed group home.
I place strong value on understanding family systems and the ways early experiences shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Therapy is a collaborative process for me, and I prioritize partnering with clients to build treatment plans that feel empowering, flexible, and aligned with their needs. I also incorporate ongoing attention to the connection between mind and body, supporting clients in navigating their healing in a holistic and compassionate way.
