About me

Karina Tenenbaum is a bilingual Spanish/English psychoanalyst who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a master’s in clinical psychology. She gets an approved equivalence in the USA, obtaining her license from the State of Florida in 2000. (Lic: MH6221).
She has been in private practice for over 25 years, providing treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
She has written many articles in magazines, newspapers, and books.

In addition, she is a member of the World Association of Psychoanalysis, having an active participation in Miami as a teacher at the Florida Center for Teaching and Research in Psychoanalysis. She is a member of the Council of Lacanian Compass, a group dedicated to the development and promotion of the Lacanian orientation of psychoanalysis in the United States.

Having commitment and passion in her field and as an experienced psychoanalyst, she is constantly investigating, learning, teaching, and treating issues such as depression, anxiety, stressful life changes, sexual dysfunctions, relationship and couple problems, impulse control, obsessive compulsive disorders, disorganized thought processes, behavioral and compulsive disorders, and behavioral and emotional problems, among others.
