About me
I have counseled with families for over 40 years in state government, schools and healthcare. I have a dedication to help you recognize how you can help yourself.
I once thought I wanted to be a counselor of law, I realized I was committed in being a counselor of people. As a juvenile probation officer, I worked more to help the child than to move it through the system. As a school counselor, I wanted to ensure a student was mentally prepared for life after school. As a therapist I want clients to recognize that total health includes mental health.
I wish to educate clients on how they can help themselves utilizing their own strengths and weaknesses to be the best version of themselves. This Person-Centered approach offers empowerment that can be long lasting when truly embraced.
