About me
I am a clinical psychologist with 44 years of experience in the therapy field, 35 of those as a psychologist. I specialize in working in depth with clients, to address and improve issues that have persistently caused problems in personal life, work life, and relationships. I have a specific interest in a wholistic approach, and I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. I am also working on a certification in treatment of narcissistic abuse.
Given that you are searching for a therapist, it is clear that you want to make changes in your life. You want to get rid of old patterns and problems that are holding you back. But you're not sure how to fix them. I can help you access and develop both your inner and your outer resources to create better relationships and a more satisfying life. With many years of experience in the therapy field, I am an effective life-change partner for you. We will work together to understand the root causes of your problems, so you can make real, lasting, and significant changes in the aspects of your life that are making you unhappy. I work with adult individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, trauma, PTSD, abuse, life transitions, relationship issues, narcissism, bipolar, divorce, work problems, money issues, stress management, grad school stress, and coping with medical problems such as lifestyle affecting overall health, medical fears and phobias, and chronic pain or illness. I am interested in helping you learn more about yourself, and how your perceptions are creating your reality and choices, so that you can gain more control over your own life. I specialize in longer term, deeper therapy work, with the goal of permanent change. I use a compassionate and respectful approach, believing it best to let you determine the pace and timing of change. I consistently focus on understanding your experience, feelings, and needs.
I am a member of PSYPACT, which means that I can practice via telehealth in almost all states. New states are added to PSYPACT from time to time. To see if your state is in PSYPACT, you can go to psypact.gov/mpage/psypactmap.
