You may appear capable and accomplished on the outside, yet inside you may struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, or a persistent feeling that you are not enough. Perhaps you find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, or putting others’ needs before your own. You may understand these patterns intellectually but still find them difficult to change.

I offer warm, experiential, and trauma-informed psychotherapy to help you understand not only what you think, but also what you feel and experience in your body and relationships. Together, we can explore the patterns that may have once helped you cope but now leave you feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck.

My approach is emotion-focused, attachment-based, and somatic, with specialized training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients develop a deeper connection with themselves, work through painful emotional experiences, and discover strengths and capacities that may have been overshadowed by anxiety, trauma, or self-criticism.

I am a Certified AEDP® Therapist and Supervisor with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Born and raised in Tokyo, I provide therapy in both English and Japanese and bring an understanding of how culture, identity, family expectations, and belonging can shape our emotional lives.
