About me
Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a graduate of the University of Saint Mary. I provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where adults can feel comfortable exploring what they’re experiencing and working toward interpersonal growth and positive changes they want to see in their life. I assist my clients in prioritizing their current needs, identifying and processing their life stressors, and further developing coping skills so they can better navigate anxiety, depression, identity and self worth struggles, and anything else life might throw a them.
My approach is very much strengths based, solution-focused and based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, these are not a one size fits all solution. So, I love finding creative ways to utilize evidence based practices to fit every one of my client's needs. I am also a Board Certified Music Therapist and utilize music often as a mode of processing and communication to assist my clients in gaining insight to themselves, feel less isolated in their experience, and create a comfortable place for them to dive into their most difficult struggles. You do not have to do this alone, I am here to help!
I invite you to share what you feel is most important to you and about you as we complete your first session. Doing this, helps prioritize your values and goals for therapy as well as helps me get to know you better!
