About me
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in helping children and teens manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the pressures of perfectionism — including in sports. My goal is to provide a supportive, low-pressure environment where clients feel understood and empowered.
Whether in-office or virtually, I work with families to help children thrive at home and school. I’m passionate about helping parents connect with their kids and guiding young people toward emotional growth, confidence, and resilience.
If you're looking for a caring, empathetic therapist who is committed to supporting you or your child, I’m here to help.
Supporting Parents with IEPs, 504 Plans, and Helping Kids Overcome Sports-Related Challenges
Navigating educational support for children with unique needs can be overwhelming. I work closely with parents to understand and advocate for their child's Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans, helping ensure they receive the accommodations and resources they need to succeed academically and emotionally. My goal is to guide parents through the process, making sure they are fully informed and equipped to make the best decisions for their child’s future.
In addition to academic support, I also specialize in working with kids who face challenges in sports, particularly following injuries, or those struggling with perfectionism, anxiety, and social difficulties. The pressure to perform — whether in school or on the field — can be intense, and it’s common for kids to experience feelings of inadequacy, fear of failure, or difficulty navigating social dynamics.
Whether your child is recovering from an injury, facing anxiety related to sports performance, or dealing with social struggles, I provide a compassionate space where they can process their feelings and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Through therapy, I work to rebuild their confidence, improve resilience, and help them better manage stress and perfectionism.
