About me
I work with adolescents and adults needing support in addressing existential concerns, grief and loss, relational issues, relational trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and low self-esteem. I am person-centered and utilize psychodynamic therapy, emotional processing, depth psychology, and attachment-based therapy to support you in your healing journey.
My approach to therapy is rooted in psychodynamic principles, with a strong focus on how unconscious patterns—often formed in early relationships—continue to influence our emotional lives and relationships today. Together, we work to gently bring those patterns into awareness so you can understand them, process them, and begin to make intentional, lasting change.
At the center of my practice is the belief that healing begins with developing a healthier, more compassionate relationship with yourself. When you feel more connected to who you are, it becomes easier to form more authentic, fulfilling relationships with others. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or a sense of feeling stuck, therapy can provide a space to explore what lies beneath the surface.
I take an attachment-focused lens, recognizing how early emotional bonds shape the way we relate to ourselves and others throughout life. We’ll explore how past relationships may still be echoing in the present, and how new ways of relating—both in therapy and beyond—can help foster emotional security, self-trust, and connection.
Processing and expressing emotion is an essential part of our work together. Many of us have learned to suppress or avoid our emotions to protect ourselves. In therapy, I provide a space where your emotional experience can be safely felt, understood, and expressed. Through this process, emotions become tools for insight rather than obstacles.
Collaboration is key to how I work. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a shared, respectful partnership. You bring your experiences, insights, and goals; I bring presence, curiosity, and psychological understanding. Together, we create a space where change becomes possible—not by “fixing” you, but by helping you connect more deeply to yourself and your own capacity for growth.
My style is warm, thoughtful, and engaged. I aim to create a therapeutic relationship that offers both support and gentle challenge—a place where you can feel seen, heard, and understood, while also being invited to grow.
