About me
Hi, I’m Julio. I believe therapy works best when you feel like you can actually be yourself—not when you feel like you have to say the “right” thing.
I work with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress, relationships, life transitions, and the everyday pressures that can leave you feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and sometimes even a little humorous. Therapy can involve difficult conversations, but that doesn’t mean every conversation has to feel heavy.
I like to understand how you experience the world before jumping into solutions. Together, we can explore what’s happening, identify patterns that may be getting in the way, recognize the strengths you already have, and build practical strategies that make sense for your life.
And therapy with me doesn't always look like the stereotypical therapy session. I enjoy movies, anime, video games, comics, music, literature, and learning new things, so don't be surprised if a character, story, or random pop-culture reference finds its way into a conversation when it helps make something easier to understand.
Most importantly, you don't have to arrive with everything figured out. You can be anxious, awkward, energetic, frustrated, unsure, or still discovering who you are. There's room for that here.
My goal isn't to tell you who you should become. It's to help you better understand yourself, build confidence in navigating life's challenges, and create meaningful changes that feel true to who you are.
Sometimes finding your way forward starts with one honest conversation.
