About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe in supporting each other and one way I can support you is through therapy. I am dedicated to helping adults reduce their symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, and life stressors.
Whether you need to process a stressful event or need to vent, I am here to support you. I strive to tailor your session to meet your needs. Some sessions may need to be more strictly focused with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while other sessions are spent on learning a new coping skill such as mindfulness. Your session is about you and what may help you the most to resolve what issues you may have and to help you find your strength and empower you to keep moving forward. My aim is to make you, the client, feel comfortable in a judgement free zone. I want you to feel like you came to the right place, a warm inviting, calm, and empowering space where you can share what you feel you need to share. As time goes by, we will look at where you are versus where you started and you will get to see the progress and growth you have made by doing the hard work and being consistent in coming to counseling and doing the “homework”. Have you felt like you are alone, that no one has ever felt the way you do? Counseling is a way to discover and realize that in fact you are not alone and perhaps you will be pleasantly surprised to know that others have and do feel like you.
My goal is your goal, what is it that you want to achieve in counseling, what skills do you want to pick up, and what knowledge would you like to gain? I want to help you reach your potential by helping you see your inner strengths, self-worth, and realize the coping skills you have all around you. I can help you recognize and be aware or mindful of triggers, and how to work through them and other related experiences.
