About me
I am a fully licensed psychologist in the state of Michigan with decades of experience diagnosing and treating clients as well as supervising clinicians at various stages of their careers.
I earned my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2009. I am a fully licensed psychologist in the state of Michigan and the owner and director of a practice with four locations around the state. My team of nearly 60 psychologists perform intellectual and psychological testing, as well as diagnose and treat mental disorders. I am also a participating member of PsyPact, which allows me to provide services in several other states.
My education, training, and experience emphasize the multiple facets of human development and identity: physical development, intellectual development, social development, cultural influence, and relational influence. I have also trained specifically in treating trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, perfectionism, personality disorders, and relational difficulties.
Throughout the years, I’ve learned that trauma, fear, depression, and difficulty in relationships hold clients back from making the life changes they deserve. As such, I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment in which each of my clients feels comfortable enough to share honestly. My ultimate goal, and that of my practice, is to help enhance the balance and clarity in clients’ lives. My private practice works with individuals, couples, adolescents, young adults, adults, older adults, people of color, religious minorities, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
