About me

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor and board-certified art therapist offering trauma informed, relational therapy for adults. I focus on working with individuals navigating life transitions, complex trauma, neurodivergence, emotional distress, and identity shifts. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through relationship, creativity, and choice, not through fixing or forcing change.

My approach is both deeply compassionate and gently confronting. I’m not here to fix you, but to help you rewire what’s been keeping you stuck. I bring a background shaped by coast-to-coast community work, clinical experience, and my own multicultural heritage, tying the warmth of Hispanic cultural hospitality with the clarity of grounded truth-telling. My work is rooted in belonging, advocacy, and creative process.

Rather than focusing on what is “wrong” with you, I collaborate with you to understand the patterns, stories, and survival strategies that have helped you get this far—while also gently exploring where they may now feel limiting or exhausting. Together, we make room for new ways of relating to yourself, to others, and to the life you are
building. I integrate art therapy, expressive and symbolic processes, Brainspotting, Anchoring Network Model for trauma, and talk therapy as pathways for meaning making, especially when words feel limited or insufficient.

Creative work in our sessions is never about performance or perfection; it is an available tool for deeper listening, insight, regulation, and self-expression. My approach is informed by feminist relational theory, cultural humility, and trauma-responsive care. I strive to offer a therapeutic space that is steady, respectful, and attuned—one where you can move at your own pace, ask questions, set boundaries, and bring the full complexity of your lived experience, including neurodivergent ways of thinking, feeling, and processing.

I currently provide online therapy for adults residing in Minnesota. I am committed to making care as accessible as possible across geography and life circumstances, while honoring the realities of energy, capacity, and safety. If you are seeking a space where you do not have to shrink, perform, or have everything figured out, you are welcome here.

You are welcome to reach out to explore whether this work feels like a good fit.
