About me

I am accepting new patients! Children, Teens, Young Adults and Adults are all welcome to my creatively based practice of psychotherapy. I have an Office and and Art Studio/Playroom for activities such a book writing, art therapy projects and for the comfort of adults and my child and teen patients. I have 3 Pet Partner Therapy Dogs who work on the UCLA PAC Team in the Hospital who are always there,, if patients wish, for loving support and comfort. I hope to hear your concerns and goals and I hope I can offer counseling/therapy that harnesses your creative look at your issues, anxieties, depression and life's concerns. I provide exellent parent guidance and was a School Principal and classroom teacher for years and a teacher/lecturer for many years before I changed professions. I am here to help! Let's create an inviting and interesting time helping you with your concerns and finding ways to reframe and change behaviors and concerns together.

I offer creative psychotherapy to meet your life's needs. Working with creative methodology and comfort provides the patient with a sense of security. I am an artist, book author and creative cook who was fortunate to cook at half hour show on TVFN. I offer Cooking Therapy Groups wherein I am motivated to encourage patients journal their relationship with food throughout life and concerns around body image. We cook a cooperative meal and share it together in a safe environment. We journal our journey through food issues and how we have lived and how we have changed. Children and teens enjoy my art studio/playroom which projects designed to attract and motivate them. I offer doll-making, sewing, wood-burning, book writing, maker kits and the comfort of my 3 Pet Partner Therapy dogs. I have worked with patents who have fear of dogs and that fear always dissipated once we took small steps to meet and greet my Pet Partners on the UCLA PAC Team. I am active in my work and have a zest for helping others. I enjoy the synergy of our teamwork to help improve your lives. Please come and spend time together!
