I am an experienced mental health therapist who is dedicated to working with various populations and with people of diverse backgrounds, including gender-diverse and sexually diverse clients, helping them to navigate a world rife with misunderstanding, discrimination, and harassment.

I provide online counseling services exclusively, for clients in California and in Washington. My 40 + years of training and experience as a licensed LMHC, LMFT, and Physician Assistant in Psychiatry, plus additional training and experience as a sex therapist, sex educator, and "kink-aware professional, have all prepared me well to serve LGBTQQIA2S and straight clients seeking help with managing mental health symptoms. I have WPATH GEI Certification as a Gender Specialist. I am certified as an ADHD treatment specialist. I consider myself a lifelong learner who strives to keep up-to-date with the latest medical and mental health treatment information and resources to better serve my clients.

My general approaches to therapy are individualistic, eclectic, holistic, and psychoeducational. I help you to find balance in your life, emphasizing your strengths, improving your self-esteem, and teaching you about good self-care. I use a person-centered style, with you in charge of the process and speed of therapeutic interventions. We will go at your speed and progress through therapy at a pace comfortable to you.
