About me

I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping adults 21+ with grief, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I also specialize in working with business professionals, corporate level employees, and business owners.

I could start by listing credentials and therapeutic approaches, but I’d rather focus on what truly matters—you, your experiences, and the work we can do together. What you need to know is that I am committed to making acceptance and growth a tangible part of your story.

Counseling isn’t something I turn on and off; it’s part of who I am. When I entered this field 15 years ago, it felt like stepping into myself. That’s why I meet my clients in the fullness of their experiences—whether they bring anxiety, grief, joy, uncertainty, or breakthrough moments. These emotions are part of what it means to be human, and embracing them is how we begin to heal.

You’ll often hear me say, “You are a community of YOUs— the 15-year-old you, the you from last week—they are all here, right now, sitting on that couch.” The goal is to help you take your rightful place in the present, to integrate the wisdom of where you’ve been and shape the path ahead. When we begin to see ourselves this way, our perspective shifts. The way we understand our past, engage with the world around us, and imagine our future starts to change.

I draw from those who paved the way before me, my research, my colleagues, and most importantly—my clients. Your story isn’t something to fix; it’s something to understand. Therapy is a space to safely explore the areas of your life that feel unsettled, to challenge thoughts, process emotions, and create meaningful change. Together, we work through insights, encouragement, goal-setting, problem-solving, and relationships in a way that is both structured and deeply personal.

No one should have to navigate their story alone. Isolation often pulls us further from the clarity we seek. At some point, we all need guidance, perspective, and someone to help us reconnect with ourselves. That’s the role I’m here to fill.
