About me
I have been licensed as a Psychologist in Pennsylvania since 1993. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Kutztown University and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Northcentral University with 35 years of clinical experience in mental health treatment including 30 years in private practice. I am a Board Certified counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) with certifications as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). I have experience in the treatment of stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse history, motivation, self-esteem issues, self-confidence, and depression. I also have experience working with compassion fatigue. My approach to counseling tend to be eclectic with cognitive behavioral and ecological underpinnings present. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage and I am here to support you in that process.
