Joseph Lundsten

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who uses a person-centered approach that incorporates faith integration, trauma-informed care, and mind-body connections to foster healing on all levels - mind, body, and spirit.

I received my MA in Counseling from Bethel University in May of 2020. Since then, I have had experience working with a large range of clients in schools, outpatient and intensive outpatients settings, dual-diagnosis programs, and private practice settings.

I have come to embrace an integrative approach with individuals and couples that uses psychodynamic therapies, emotionally focused therapy, somatic work, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, and Christian spiritual integration. I strive to integrate faith and spirituality into my work in order to promote wholeness within each person. While my religious convictions are deeply important to me and I believe that spiritual integration can bring about some of the most profound healing, I remain open to working with people outside of the Christian faith and have worked with a diverse array of clients in the past. My goal is to meet each client in their unique experience, to walk alongside them in their struggles, and to respect their dignity and worth in order to provide truly person-centered care.
