About me
I'm a licensed clinical social worker doing clinical therapy in Honolulu HI, for the past 26 years. I've worked with the military community, ELGBTQ plus community, and just ordinary individuals who are struggling with issues they cannot seem to resolve themselves. Therapy is a wonderful way not only to set and meet goals but to begin experiencing internal growth and awareness.
Common Issues: Living alone, suicidality, self-harming, childhood. adolescent and adult traumas, Isolation, relationship issues, Self esteem, anger management, Anxiety and depression.
Multiple modalities include CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma base therapy. Tools include journaling, letter writing, resolving conflict, and communication exercises, and working with the inner child. I see clients in my home office and use Zoom telehealth.
If you Kaiser Insurance, have your PCP refer you directly to Rula. I Am a contractor with them. All other insurance can call Rula at (323) 676-7425 and request Joseph Bloom as their therapist.
