About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has practiced for the past 11 years, engaging people across every cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic line. I value all people and see every life as worthy of dignity and respect.
Are you dealing with barriers that seem to keep coming up? Perhaps it is time to stop facing these challenges alone. I see the therapeutic relationship as one that should grow and develop along healthy lines, where effort and intentionality are important and mistakes are learning opportunities. I enjoy working on those life areas that are so often neglected, covered up or avoided all together. Hopefully, some of those issues won't have to be so daunting.
My Specialties include: relational issues, intimacy, communication struggles, setting boundaries, problem-solving, conflict resolution, anxiety/panic/traumatic stress, depression and other mood issues, along with parenting support and skills learning. I take a person-centered treatment and recovery planning approach.
My wife and I live in Shreveport Louisiana with our two beautiful daughters. Having grown up in the local area, I truly love the amazing people, community and culture we have here. I tell people all the time that therapy is just people with regular life problems asking for help in a healthy manner.
