About me
My approach is depth-oriented and exploratory. Not only do we manage symptoms together, I also help clients get genuinely curious about what's driving them.
I am a Christian psychologist formed at Biola, Regent, and Fuller, three schools that hold psychological science and Christian faith together without collapsing either into the other. My practice is named Paraclete, from the Greek word in John 14 for the Helper who comes alongside and stays, which is the best description I know of what this work is. That conviction shows up as integrity in the small unseen things, presence that does not hurry, and a belief that serious work does not require a grim posture. I see clients of every faith and of none. Faith enters the clinical work only if a client wants it there, and is never a condition of care.
