Experiencing work or career problems? I am a psychologist who specializes in that. I can also help with a wide range of relational issues (marital, family, etc) and clinical conditions (anxiety, depression, etc) - but clients typically seek me out because of my deep experience as a career and workplace psychologist. Many of my clients are management executives or business owners, but I've also worked with a wide range of clients in other career situations (independent professionals, recent college graduates, etc).

As a career and workplace psychologist, I offer both practical coaching advice & deeper exploratory therapy.

As a career therapist, I help clients navigate major career challenges: e.g., finding a sense of direction, winning promotions, making transitions, surviving layoffs, mid-life crisis, strengthening leadership, moving into retirement, etc. To do this, I help clients address their deeper concerns about work/career and life success - e.g., Tense Spots: shaky confidence & fragile self-esteem; Down Spots: loss of passion/meaning & demoralization; Hot Spots: loss of temper & other emotional over-reactions; Stuck Spots: procrastination & other performance blocks; as well as Blind Spots (not seeing) & Mute Spots (not saying), which can lead to self-defeating social interactions.

In addition, as a career coach, I help clients address practical issues with useable advice: e.g., re matters of career advancement & transition; relations with bosses & colleagues; handling office politics & conflicts; coping with job stress & burnout; and conducting job searches. With regard to the latter (if needed), I can provide very concrete and hands-on advice to help clients optimize the nuts and bolts of job search: e.g., re resumes/portfolios, networking, interviews, vetting employers, negotiating comp/perks, etc.
