About me

This practice offers outpatient counseling services centered on individualized care with a skilled Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience.

Change is hard, especially when we feel stuck in old patterns, challenging relationships, or unsatisfying careers. It can feel like a really lonely place to be. You don't have to experience this alone. Therapy can help you make the changes you've been struggling to make on your own. We will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors from the past and present to better understand the patterns that may be making you feel stuck in a loop. We will work to help you gain awareness and insight into barriers that may be standing in your way and preventing you from achieving your goals, all while identifying your strengths and how to best use them. I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem/identity & life transitions. I have training in ART Accelerated Resolution Therapy (it is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies, but shown to achieve benefits much more rapidly. Clients suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, substance abuse, and many other mental and physical conditions can experience remarkable benefits by engaging in therapy.
starting in the first session. ART is not hypnosis, does not require medications or homework). Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (focuses on thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and the relationship between them) Trauma Therapy (using somatic therapies to focus on the connection between the body and mind & I practice with a client centered framework (treats each person respectfully as an individual human being, and not just as a condition to be treated. It involves seeking out and understanding what is important to the patient, and implement's a relational approach as we dive into understanding where symptoms stem from and how to integrate different parts of ourselves, fostering trust and establishing mutual respect.
