About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping adults and couples navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.
Therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest about what is really going on without worrying about being judged, dismissed, or expected to have everything figured out. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and practical space where you can slow things down, better understand what you are experiencing, and begin making meaningful changes in your life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults and couples navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, major life transitions, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. I especially enjoy working with clients who feel overwhelmed, overthink frequently, carry a great deal of responsibility, or find themselves struggling to quiet their minds even when everything may appear fine from the outside.
Anxiety can show up in many different ways. Sometimes it looks like constant worry, racing thoughts, difficulty making decisions, irritability, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or always preparing for the worst. Other times, it may feel like physical tension, trouble relaxing, feeling overstimulated, or struggling to be fully present because your mind is constantly moving on to the next concern. In therapy, we can work together to understand the patterns contributing to your anxiety while developing practical strategies that help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your responses.
I also have a particular passion for maternal mental health and supporting women and families throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into parenthood. These seasons can be deeply meaningful while also bringing enormous changes to your identity, relationships, routines, body, expectations, and emotional well-being.
This work is meaningful to me not only because of my professional training, but because I understand many of these transitions from real life as well. I am married, have two young children, and am currently expecting another baby. While every person’s experience is different, I know firsthand that pregnancy, postpartum life, marriage, and parenting can hold joy, exhaustion, anxiety, identity shifts, relationship changes, and competing demands all at the same time. I believe that lived experience can add an additional layer of empathy and understanding while still keeping the focus on your unique story and needs.
For some clients, pregnancy or postpartum life brings increased anxiety, intrusive thoughts, relationship tension, guilt, resentment, loneliness, or pressure to enjoy every moment. You may deeply love your child and still feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, exhausted, or unsure of who you are in this new season. Those experiences can coexist. Therapy can provide a place to talk openly about them without needing to minimize what you are going through or compare yourself to what parenthood appears to look like for everyone else.
When I work with couples, I focus on helping partners better understand the patterns that keep them feeling disconnected or misunderstood. Stress, parenting, communication difficulties, unmet expectations, changing responsibilities, and major life transitions can all put pressure on a relationship. Rather than simply determining who is right or wrong, I help couples identify what is happening underneath recurring conflicts and develop healthier ways of communicating, resolving disagreements, and reconnecting with one another.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I do not believe therapy should only consist of talking about problems week after week without helping you understand what to do with what you are learning. Insight is valuable, but so are tools you can actually use outside of the therapy room. Depending on your needs, our work may include identifying thought and behavior patterns, improving communication, strengthening boundaries, building coping skills, exploring relationship dynamics, processing difficult experiences, and developing healthier ways of responding to stress and anxiety.
At the same time, therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Every person brings a different history, personality, set of relationships, values, and life circumstances into the room. I aim to understand the whole person rather than reducing someone to a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. We will work together to determine what is most helpful for you and adjust our approach as your needs and goals evolve.
I also understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. You may not know exactly what you need, how to explain what you are feeling, or even where to begin. You do not need to arrive with the perfect words or a perfectly defined goal. Part of my role is helping you sort through what feels overwhelming and identify where you would like things to be different.
My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel comfortable being yourself, asking difficult questions, exploring patterns honestly, and building skills that continue to serve you long after our sessions end.
I offer multiple ways to access care. For clients who prefer to use insurance, I am able to provide insurance-based telehealth services through Headway. I also offer self-pay options, including telehealth therapy packages designed to provide additional flexibility and continuity of care. This can be especially helpful for clients who want a more structured level of support during pregnancy, postpartum, or other major life transitions.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, feeling stuck in a difficult season, experiencing challenges in your relationship, adjusting to pregnancy or postpartum life, or simply realizing that the way you have been coping is no longer working, you do not have to figure everything out alone. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, healthier relationships, stronger coping skills, and a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
