About me
I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I bring a compassionate, down-to-earth presence to my work and value authenticity and connection in the therapeutic relationship. My background includes experience in community mental health settings, where I have supported individuals from all walks of life, including but not limited to navigating anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, and major life transitions.
I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. I draw from a variety of approaches and meet clients where they are in their therapeutic journey. I utilize approaches including talk therapy, art-based techniques, worksheets, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, cognitive reframing, and mindfulness-based tools. My style is collaborative and fluid, grounded in the understanding that each person’s needs are unique and continuously changing.
I specialize in working with adults and couples, with a particular interest in exploring relationship dynamics and how early life experiences shape current beliefs and patterns. I bring curiosity about each person’s cultural upbringing to enhance my understanding of how to best serve them, along with a strong commitment to unconditional positive regard. I recognize that we all need support, validation, and a safe space to grow.
