Experienced therapist offers evidence based treatment seasoned with empathy and humor!

When I was 16 years old, I decided to become a Psychologist. I was fascinated by the subject, and I noticed that other people felt comfortable trusting me with their personal information. I had know idea at the time that I would have to take a course training a white rat, and at another times learning statistics. Neither of these courses appealed to me! Nevertheless, I succeed in graduate school, earned a Ph.D. and even won a Post Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania where I consolidated my knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I enjoy helping people to feel better and manage problems that previously felt unsolvable. Many of my clients come into therapy due to problems with stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I have been trained in several therapy modalities and due my best to tailor fit the treatment to each individual. When working with me you can expect that your treatment will be enriched with an abundance of empathy, a sprinkling of humor, and even a dash of storytelling. You will probably grow from the experience. Remember, therapy is not all misery and work! It can be a growth experience, in which you learn new tools to use in difficult situations.

I provide goal directed therapy for those who are ready to tackle their issues in a straightforward manner. I offer individual therapy with a unique blend of clear focus, understanding, and humor. Call today to schedule an evaluation.
