About me
I am a license mental health counselor in Florida with over 3 years of experience working as a therapist and 20 plus years working within case management programs. I have worked with clients with various concerns including depression, anxiety, anger management, adjustment issues, relationship issues, behavior challenges, career challenges, OCD, grief & loss, substance use disorders and complex traumas.
My approach to therapy is openly inviting and collaborating with my clients. Everyone is treated with respect and compassion; I am sensitive to the needs of my clients, and I avoid labels at all costs. The types of modalities that are applied are cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic approach, psychotherapy, rational-emotive therapy, Internal Family System and Trauma Focus therapy.
Through counseling, possibilities are limitless and positive life skills can be achieved. Taking that leap is the first step to towards that change and I look forward to taking that next step with you!
Finding Hope…one step at time.
