About me
I offer in-person therapy in Atlanta and telehealth in GA and SC. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming.
Reaching out for therapy can feel difficult, especially when you have been carrying a lot on your own. If you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, a major life change, or involvement in the criminal justice system, you do not have to navigate it alone.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker, former attorney, and founder of Wondering Well Behavioral Health, LLC. During my 15 years practicing law, I saw how often trauma, addiction, mental health concerns, and the legal system overlap. That experience inspired me to change careers and focus on helping people heal, regain stability, and move forward.
Since then, I have worked in community mental health, crisis services, criminal justice settings, and outpatient behavioral health programs. I support adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. I also have extensive experience helping justice-involved adults navigate the challenges of recovery and rebuilding their lives.
Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. I will take the time to understand what you have experienced, what matters to you, and what you hope to change. Together, we will identify realistic steps toward your goals while building on the strengths you already have.
Depending on your needs, I may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. You will not be treated as a diagnosis or expected to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach.
Whether you are seeking support for trauma, recovery, anxiety, depression, or a difficult transition, you deserve a space where you feel heard, respected, and free from judgment.
If you are considering therapy and wondering whether we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out. I would be honored to support you as you take your next step.
