About me
I believe therapy is a space for meaningful self-discovery, healing, and personal growth. My approach is grounded in the understanding that each person's experiences, relationships, and challenges are unique. I strive to create a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and patterns.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), I work collaboratively with clients to develop greater self-awareness, navigate life's transitions, establish healthier boundaries, and cultivate more fulfilling relationships. My approach balances empathy with thoughtful exploration and gentle challenges, encouraging clients to move beyond patterns that may no longer serve them.
I believe meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves more deeply. Therapy is not about becoming someone different, but about developing the insight, confidence, and tools to live more intentionally and authentically.
I'm Jo, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), and I believe that healing begins with feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood.
I've always been drawn to understanding people beyond the surface—what shapes us, the patterns we carry, and the ways our experiences influence how we relate to ourselves and others. As a therapist, I bring curiosity, compassion, authenticity, and a willingness to gently challenge perspectives that may be keeping you stuck.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that self-awareness creates opportunities for meaningful change. I value building genuine therapeutic relationships where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
I enjoy helping individuals navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, and the complexities of personal growth. I'm especially passionate about helping people recognize patterns, establish healthier boundaries, reconnect with their sense of self, and build lives that feel more aligned with their values.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I find balance through yoga, travel, and exploring different cultures. These experiences continue to deepen my appreciation for mindfulness, human connection, and the many ways we find meaning in our lives.
Above all, I believe therapy should be a space where you feel supported, empowered, and encouraged to become more fully yourself.
