I’m Jiovanna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in helping people with their mental health needs in Florida and Colorado.

Using EMDR and CBT we can process the past while building tools for your future.

I describe myself as personable, warm, easy to talk to and light-hearted with clients. I use humor as my most human approach to disarming clients around the difficulty that comes with discussing triggering or uncomfortable topics and hope to make my clients feel that although life and our issues are serious, we can still find ease and laughter.

In our first session together, we will begin learning about each other, and explore the therapeutic process as a whole before engaging in an evaluation where I can begin understanding your life experiences, current symptoms, and help you establish future goals.

In our sessions, you will explore and learn about yourself, while building valuable tools to better manage daily stressors, problems, and symptoms.

You will feel empowered to identify and express your emotions, needs and wants by learning how to communicate with others, set healthy boundaries, be intentional and mindful in your interactions, and find solutions to daily problems without ruminating on negative thoughts or your past.
