Jill Berlin, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified School Social Worker, and Certified Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer with a Master's degree from Widener University and additional postgraduate training focused on the needs of children and families. I have over 24 years of experience working with children and their families in private practice and as a School Social Worker. I take pride in creating a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for clients to explore their experiences.

As a clinician, I continue to advance my professional background in trauma and present neuro-developmental science. Through our work together, I strive to shift the lens for my clients and their parents by providing a research-aligned and more compassionate perspective of why they may be struggling or pursuing answers for challenging areas in their lives that have been impacted by trauma and adverse experiences.

I utilize many different treatment approaches including EMDR, Safe and Sound Protocol, play therapy, and Sandtray therapy. Children benefit from these forms of therapies due to the developmentally appropriate way they can express themselves in a safe and nurturing space. As a certified Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer, I offer coaching in the NHA methodology.
