About me

I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, recognize their strengths, and work toward meaningful growth.

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University and my Master of Arts degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Hofstra University. Throughout my career of over 30 years in counseling and clinical settings, I have been dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. My background in both clinical social work and vocational rehabilitation allows me to support clients not only with their emotional well-being, but also with developing confidence, independence, and direction during times of change.

My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, family conflict, and major life transitions. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals and families navigating divorce, co-parenting challenges, blended family dynamics, and the emotional impact these transitions can have on both children and adults.

I also enjoy helping clients who are facing changes related to education, career goals, employment challenges, disability, and finding balance between personal and professional responsibilities. I believe that each person has unique strengths and abilities, and therapy can help uncover those strengths while creating a path forward.

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client's individual needs. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, and trauma-informed care to help clients develop effective coping strategies, improve relationships, and create lasting change.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating a difficult transition, struggling with relationships, or seeking support in creating a more fulfilling life, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel challenging, but you do not have to navigate it alone. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and growth.
