About me

I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges from anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, to addiction, and more. My clients often have a history of trauma, high stress, or long-term struggles that have shaped how they see themselves and the world. Therapy with me is about cutting through that heaviness and getting to work, with evidence-based tools and real support that fits you.
I specialize in trauma-informed, strengths-based care. I use a mix of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and other approaches tailored to your needs and goals. I’m also a retired police officer that is now a Certified First Responder Counselor and have extensive experience supporting people in high-stress roles or those who’ve experienced repeated exposure to trauma

I am not a cookie-cutter therapist. I believe that each person is on their own mental health and/or substance use journey and deserves evidence-based care tailored to fit their needs and preferences. As a retired law enforcement officer, I have seen what trauma can do to people; however, I have also seen the beauty of resilience when people overcome their obstacles. I am a mental health therapist, Certified First Responder Counselor, and Substance Use Disorder Counselor who uses an eclectic approach to therapy grounded in each client’s specific needs and evidence-based practice. I am an EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing International Association) Approved Therapist and Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Counselor, who also uses Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I enjoy using my expertise, experience, compassion and empathy to best serve my clients. I enjoy working with first responders and other adults living with trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. I look forward to helping you become the most resilient and well-adjusted version of yourself on your wellness journey.
