About me

I am a trauma-focused therapist who provides a safe and supportive space for healing and resilience

Healing from trauma takes courage—and it doesn’t have to be something you face on your own. My goal as a trauma-informed therapist is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly seen as you work through what’s been holding you back. Together, we’ll move at your pace to help you make sense of your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and begin to feel more grounded and whole.

I believe that everyone has a deep capacity for healing, no matter what they’ve been through. Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected—from our emotions, our bodies, and even from hope—but recovery is absolutely possible. In our work together, I’ll help you tap into the resilience and strength that’s already within you. Healing isn’t about “fixing” yourself; it’s about reclaiming your sense of safety, confidence, and connection.

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and flexible. I use a blend of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), somatic and mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). These approaches help reduce the intensity of painful memories, calm the body, and create new ways of coping that feel empowering instead of overwhelming. I also draw from attachment-based and parts work perspectives to help explore how past relationships and survival patterns show up in your present life.

Most of my clients are adults who are dealing with:
- Trauma and PTSD
- Childhood or relationship wounds
- Anxiety and emotional overwhelm
- Grief and loss
- Chronic stress and burnout
- Low self-esteem or disconnection
- Difficulties with trust or relationships

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in “survival mode” — always on alert, exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward. Our first priority is building safety and stability, so you can feel more in control of your emotions and your body. From there, we can gently work through the experiences that have shaped your story and start creating space for peace and possibility.

I see therapy as a partnership. You’re the expert on your life, and my role is to walk beside you with empathy, curiosity, and respect. You deserve a space where your pain is heard and your story matters. My hope is that therapy can be that place for you — where healing feels possible and life starts to feel like your own again.
