About me

No-nonsense trauma therapist helping professionals, protectors, and high performers break patterns, build resilience, and heal deeply.

I’m Jesse, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and trauma specialist who brings a no frills, no bullshit, real therapy approach to healing. I work with professionals, first responders, law enforcement personnel, veterans, therapists, and others who carry the weight of responsibility for others while neglecting their own inner work. My practice exists for the healers, protectors, peacekeepers, caregivers, and leaders who are ready to face the hard truths beneath the surface and do the deep work necessary for lasting change.

I specialize in trauma, compassion fatigue, work stress, men’s mental health, depression, anxiety, attachment wounds, and family-of-origin patterns. My work is trauma-informed and systems-focused, meaning we don’t just address symptoms — we explore the root stories and patterns that keep you stuck so you can understand them and shift them collaboratively. Vulnerability and honesty are central in my space, and I partner with clients who are ready for authentic growth rather than surface-level “fluffy” therapy.

My approach integrates emotion-focused work with somatic and parts-based theory, and I’m also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). What you can expect from therapy with me is direct, grounded, relational, and rooted in developing real self-understanding and internal regulation.

At Courage and Grit, I offer individual therapy, couples/marriage therapy, family therapy, consultation, and supervision geared toward those in demanding roles who are ready to heal, grow, and break generational patterns. If you’re looking to move from surviving to truly living with clarity, resilience, and presence, I’d welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you.
