About me
Finding the right therapist can be challenging. Whether you are looking for a safe space to explore your identity, needing to process your emotions, heal old wounds, recover from trauma or loss, or needing help to cope with relationships and transitions, or are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. No matter the reason, I am here to help. Maybe you aren’t even sure what you need but know something has to change. By working together, I want to help you learn the tools that are needed to get through life’s difficult situations. My approach is person-centered and solution-focused, but I believe therapy should be flexible, authentic, and sometimes even include some humor because life can be hard enough without taking ourselves too seriously all the time. I enjoy working with women and the LGBTQ+ community. Our first session will be introductory and you can share your goals for therapy. In following sessions, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, feel genuinely heard and understood, and leave with practical tools and a little more hope than when you walked in.
