About me
I am an experienced marriage and family therapist with a history as a chemical dependency specialist. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, and teens. I have a passion for working with first responders and military veterans and their families. I take a person centered approach using elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Strategic Family Therapy. I utilize a holistic approach using evidence based interventions and strategies based on an individual's needs, strengths, and readiness to change. My approach is aimed with the belief that any individual can maximize strengths; reach their potential; find viable solutions; and live a meaningful, fulfilling life.
I have a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology with a concentration on Military Psychology. I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services with a concentration in children and family services.
Our practice offers both in-person and telehealth sessions. We take most insurances and also offer a discounted cash rate for clients not utilizing insurance.
