About me

You're not meant to carry everything alone. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, burnout, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a place to better understand yourself, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful change. Reaching out for help takes courage, and my goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and understood.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor with extensive experience helping adults navigate life's challenges. Throughout my career, I have worked in outpatient, residential, community-based, and telehealth settings, supporting individuals facing trauma, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, major life transitions, and complex emotional struggles. I have also worked extensively with veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and others in high-stress professions.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe that every person's story is unique, and treatment should be tailored to their individual needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and trauma-focused interventions to help clients develop insight, build resilience, and create lasting change.

I specialize in helping clients with:

• Trauma and PTSD
• Anxiety and stress-related disorders
• Depression and mood concerns
• Substance use and recovery support
• Co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Veterans and military-related concerns
• First responder stress and trauma
• Life transitions and adjustment difficulties
• Relationship and interpersonal challenges
• Emotional regulation and coping skills

What You Can Expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe meaningful change starts with feeling heard, understood, and accepted. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin developing a plan that meets you where you are today. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported, hopeful, and confident that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

Seeking therapy is a significant step, and finding the right therapist matters. If you're looking for a therapist who combines clinical expertise with authenticity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping you succeed, I would be honored to work with you.
