About me
Perhaps you’re struggling to feel safe, navigating family stress or facing anxiety or depression, or trying to reconnect, you’re not alone! Many of us long for closeness but feel pulled away, anxious, or overly self-reliant just when connection matters most. Our bodies remember everything, the moments of safety and warmth, and the times we had to tighten, numb, or withdraw to stay safe. Over time, these protective patterns can become automatic, shaping how we relate to ourselves and others. Many of us try to “think” our way through pain, to understand, fix, or move on. But real healing often begins below the level of words, in the body itself. By noticing your sensations, impulses, and emotions, you can: Help children feel safe, seen, and regulated Building stronger, more resilient bonds Guide towards emotional balance and self-trust Transform disconnection into secure, loving connections.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist over a decade of experiencing with children, families, individuals and couples navigating dysregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational patterns. Perhaps you or your child may feel anxious, overwhelmed, shut down, or quick to react. Big feelings might burst out in moments of intensity or stay tucked quietly inside.
Sometimes the body tells the story first such as with tight shoulders, restlessness, a sense of disconnection, or pulling away when comfort is needed. Talking alone isn’t always enough, especially when emotions live in the body. My work centers on helping individuals, children, and families better understand their emotional worlds, especially the parts that are hard to put into words. My work with you is to slow down, listen inward, and grow curious about what their bodies are saying.
I’m here to walk alongside you or your child on your journey toward healing, safety, and growth. Every session is tailored to your unique nervous system and grounded in evidence-based practices. Through trauma-informed care, somatic work, attachment-focused therapy, DBT skills, and even dream exploration, we support healing from the inside out—in ways that feel safe, compassionate, and aligned with your pace. I deeply honor each person’s story and support the development of emotional regulation, self-understanding, and personal insight. My hope is to help you or your child build resilience, release old patterns, and cultivate a more grounded, connected, and confident sense of self. Together, we move toward healing, connection, and an authentic, lasting relationship with yourself and others.
