About me
I am an empathetic listener who is committed to helping adults and adolescents overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I know what it's like to be on both sides of the counseling room. Anxiety and depression have threatened my joy, my peace, and, at times, my life. Whether you are working to overcome the trauma in your life, struggling in your relationships, feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, or experiencing depression and/or anxiety, I am ready to listen with grace and compassion. I have a heart for the "helpers" and am ready to offer you the emotional respite you need. Typically, I work with adolescents (12+) and adults in all stages of life.
My approach is holistic and person-centered. I believe each person is able to achieve wellness in body, mind, and spirit. My therapeutic focus extends to trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. A session with me includes mindfulness, grounding, and stress management techniques.
Suicide in Missouri is on the rise, and rates are, unfortunately, higher than the national average. Your life matters, and I would rather hear your story from you than from others at your funeral. I am proud to be a QPR Gatekeeper, offering hope to those who have lost the ability to see the way forward.
Healing happens in relationship with a safe person. I am ready to hear your story and collaborate with you as you write the next chapter of your life's book. It would be my honor to walk alongside you on your sacred path of healing.
