About me
I meet you where you are in your journey toward recovery and a better life in a stigma-free, non-judgmental treatment environment.
I meet you wherever you are in your journey toward recovery and peace of mind. Whether you have only just started thinking about making changes, are ready to dive in and do whatever it takes to make lasting change or have completed higher levels of care and are in need of aftercare to maintain sobriety, I'm here to partner with you in your journey in a stigma-free, non-judgmental treatment environment. I have more than 25 years of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of settings, with nearly 20 years focused on the treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders.
I provide solution-focused, goal-oriented therapy utilizing a variety of techniques including motivational enhancement therapy, harm reduction, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. I have extensive training in mindfulness techniques, working with criminal justice populations as well as with Impaired Professionals.
The initial session will consist of an overview of what to expect during your therapy sessions as well as a brief assessment to determine your specific, individual needs and formulate an appropriate treatment plan. I look forward to helping you meet your goals for a healthier future.
