About me

I am an experienced LLP, offering psychological evaluation, and equine-assisted psychotherapy sessions, who specializes in autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, body dysmorphia, performance issues, navigating big life changes, and executive functioning difficulties.

Sometimes, life can feel overwhelming, and understanding yourself, others, or finding a way forward can feel difficult. You may be navigating strong emotions, sensory issues, anxiety, trauma, challenges with unwanted thoughts, attention, or other executive functioning. Maybe you are trying to better understand yourself and the way you experience the world, yourself, and others.

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are, feel genuinely understood, and explore what you need without fear of judgment. My approach is generally warm, authentic, and supportive while having the ability to be creative, direct, and collaborative. I recognize that each person brings a unique story, set of strengths, abilities, and lived experiences into therapy. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with you to develop an individualized path toward greater self-understanding, emotional well-being, and meaningful change in a safe and supportive environment where curiosity, creativity, and authenticity are welcomed, and allow you freedom to build on your strengths while working through the challenges that brought you to therapy.

Depending on your needs and goals, our work may focus on building coping skills, strengthening emotional regulation, improving executive functioning, exploring relationships, challenging behaviors, perceptions, thoughts, or making sense of experiences that have been difficult to process. My approach is individualized and attentive to the person behind the diagnosis or presenting concern. I aim to help clients better understand their experiences, recognize their strengths, develop practical strategies, and work toward goals that align with their needs and values. I am also certified and offer autism spectrum disorder and ADHD psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.

I am a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP) with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology who graduated from The Michigan School of Psychology. I am available for sessions in my office and virtually. I have experience working with individuals navigating a range of concerns and diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, body dysmorphia, performance issues, creating boundaries, navigating big life changes, and executive functioning difficulties.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic frameworks, including psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, person-centered, humanistic, and existential approaches. I also incorporate numerous other psychological theories and evidence-based interventions. The interventions, strategies, and the coping skills we develop together are specifically tailored and are as unique as you. They help support you on your journey to reach your treatment plan goals in ways that are comfortable for you and realistically fit into your life.

I believe meaningful therapy involves more than managing symptoms. It can also be an opportunity to explore patterns, understand how past experiences influence the present, develop a deeper relationship with yourself, and discover new ways of navigating life. I welcome you to reach out. We can begin by talking about what has been challenging, what you hope to change, and what support might look like for you. You deserve a space where you can be yourself, explore your experiences, and move toward a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
