About me

I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel safe exploring life's challenges while developing practical skills to create lasting change. I tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, grief, or stress, I am committed to helping you build resilience, gain insight, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

Reaching out for therapy takes courage, and I'm glad you're here. I have over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both school and clinical settings. Throughout my career, I've learned that every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop tools they can use in everyday life. I believe therapy isn't about "fixing" you—it's about helping you recognize your strengths, navigate challenges with greater confidence, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

I commonly work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, grief, self-esteem difficulties, and stress. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by a recent transition or have been carrying emotional burdens for years, we'll work together to identify what matters most to you and create goals that support the life you want to build.

Outside of therapy, I value spending time with family, being outdoors, reading, and finding moments of mindfulness in everyday life. I believe that genuine connection, humor, and compassion are powerful parts of the healing process, and I strive to bring those qualities into every session.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey.
