Meet Dr. Jennifer Hunter
Dr. Jennifer Hunter is committed to ensuring that her clients and the community she serves are prepared with the tools needed to help them reach their desired goals.
Dr. Jennifer Hunter graduated from Yeshiva University with her Masters in Social work and has over 30 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, juvenile offenders, and substance abuse populations. In addition to her work as a therapist, she has provided clinical supervision to over 70 students in both the bachelor and master level programs of social work. She continues to invest in a lifelong training to enhance her knowledge base and provide the best services to her clients. In 2022 she went on to successfully earn her doctoral degree in Psychology.
Dr. Jennifer Hunter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Psychotherapy Privileges. She is licensed to practice in the states of New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, Nevada, and Rhode Island. Her standing motto has always been “no situation is the same for anyone”. She takes the time to get to know her patients and adapts to their needs. The goal is to listen first and then help them identify their next steps to self-empowerment and self-discovery. Dr. Hunter believes that if she can help people overcome life’s adversities they will be that much closer to achieving and maintaining a healthier lifestyle.
